from Toronto on April 4th, 2003 to Garabandal. *** |

surprise happened that Bishop Roman Danylak was unable to travel to
Garbandal with our group because of health reasons at this time. Father
Miroslav Cajka travelled as the spiritual director and many have
recognized what a wonderful priest he is. In addition Dr. Michael and
Helen Rozeluk were also forced to cancel their trip because Helen had a
severe fall down some stairs only a few days before the trip was to
leave and suffered a separated shoulder. She is recovering nicely.
Maria-Elena and Hamid Hemmati were asked to lead the group and they did
an excellent job. *** |

ITINERARY
Friday April 4, 2003~ Evening departure from Toronto.
Saturday April 5 ,2003 ~ Arrival in Bilbao, Spain. Transfer by bus to the village of
Garabandal. Bed, breakfast, lunch and dinner
included daily. Visit Limpias to see "the Miraculous Crucifix"
and have Mass in the village church.
Sunday April 6, 2003 ~ Attend Holy Mass in the village church with
Bishop Danylak. Tour of the Village of San Sebastian de Garabandal Rosary and Stations of the Cross.
Monday April 7, 2003, ~ Travel to Covadonga - "The Lourdes of
Spain" by bus. It is hoped that the Mass will be celebrated in the grotto
where Our Lady appeared. There is a beautiful Cathedral here and a religious
store for your use. A trip to Oviedo may be arranged if possible. The cathedral contains the sudarium - a cloth that both tradition
and scientific studies claim that was used to cover and clean the face of Jesus
after the crucifixion.
Tuesday April 8, 2003 ~ Mass, Rosary. Full day to enjoy in Garabandal.
Rosary and Stations of the Cross.
Wednesday April 9, 2003 ~ Mass, Rosary and a free day to as you wish.
Thursday April 10, 2003 ~ Excursion
to San Toribio Monastery which houses the largest known piece of the True
Cross. Holy Mass to be celebrated there also if possible.
Friday April 11, 2003~ Full day in Garabandal with prayers.
Saturday April 12, 2003 ~ Depart Garabandal for airport for trip back to
Toronto. Welcome home.
In
Garabandal we will stay in the village with three meals a day provided (included in tour cost). Every evening we will try to get together
for an evening of prayer.
